Miguel Fonseca is an experimental economist at the University of Exeter, in the UK. Miguel’s current research interests are on tacit and explicit collusion in oligopolies; social fragmentation and the role of group identity on public good provision and bargaining; prediction markets applied to environmental decision-making. Miguel‘s post-doctoral work at CRED related to water management issues in Northeast Brazil. In particular, he conducted field experiments to study the ability of market mechanisms to coordinate investment decisions when there is uncertainty about the future availability of water.
