Dava Sobel, popular science writer and author of the bestsellin Longitude and Galileo’s Daughter, will moderate a panel of experts in the environmental sciences from Columbia University’s Earth Institute and Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, including Steve Cohen, environmental policy expert; Sabine Marx, research scientist and expert in environmental risk perceptions; and Adam Sobel, atmospheric scientist specializing in the dynamics of weather and climate.
