Urban Climate Change Network International Research Symposium
New York, New York
Cities are responsible for 3/4 of the world’s energy consumption, and the world’s largest cities have a critical role to play in the reduction of carbon emissions and the reversal of climate change. Researchers from over 40 world cities convened in NYC to discuss the current state of research and policymaking on climate change mitigation and adaptation in these cities.
CRED co-sponsored this symposium that introduced policy makers and researchers to CRED research on the human decision making related to climate change. This event partnered with the C40 International Mayors’ Climate Summit.
