George Marshall, founder of the UK-based non-profit, Climate Outreach Information Network, and its Talking Climate Programme, was the featured speaker at CRED’s October 12th seminar, “Preaching to the Tone Deaf: How can we reach beyond the ‘usual suspects’ and engage new, challenging or disinterested audiences”. George gave a presentation and led a discussion on the challenges of reaching wider audiences, dealing with indifference and denial, and the practical methodology of developing narratives, language, and engagement strategies.
