CRED was represented at this year’s Association of American Geographers (AAG) annual meeting, held February 24-28 in New York, by visiting research scholar Diana Reckien and visiting scholar Seth Baum. Diana presented a paper on “What it needs to reduce perceived burden – Climate change adaptation measures and their effectiveness for different social groups in Hyderabad, India” as part of a session on “South Asian cities- its ability to cope with any local, regional and global changes in environmental pattern in the future.” Seth gave a talk on “Perceptions of Mitigation Behaviors: Is Food Choice Overlooked?” as part of a panel titled “Representing meat: politics, culture and nature.” Seth also served as a panelist in a session on Climate Change Literacy.
