Sabine Marx, CRED Managing Director, presented “Communication and Decision Making: Insights from the Center for Research on Environmental Decisions”; and Rick Larrick, CRED Principal Investigator, presented “Better Metrics for Energy Decisions” at the Climate, Mind and Behavior (CMB) Symposium, held February 15-17, 2012 at the Garrison Institute, which convened over 100 environmental leaders and scholars. Garrison Institute is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian organization that explores linkages between contemplation and engaged action in the world. The focus of its CMB program is on connecting new insights from social and behavioral sciences about the drivers of human behavior with new thinking on solutions to climate change and other environmental issues.
